Issue: The license file I have received has an extension of .mim. I change it to the correct file extension but still cannot register.

This occurs if the license file has been corrupted due to it being transferred in ASCII mode rather than binary.

Because of the wrong data transfer type, line breaks are not recognized properly, and so the viewer tries to connect to an invalid URL obtained from a wrong license text line.

Delete the keystore – Windows Start menu >> All Programs >> Locklizard >> Lizard “product name” >> Remove Keystore (where “product name” is the name of the product you are using).

Then try registering again, this time using the license file contained in the zip file.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Make sure that you use the license file contained in the zip file when registering again as that will remain untouched.
