Error: I have added a customer using the ecommerce system but they are unable to register using the license file they received

The most likely reason for this is that you are using Cold Fusion 5.x on your web server.

Cold Fusion 5.x has a bug that incorrectly issues HTTP PUT and GET commands causing the LockLizard administration server to generate incorrect licenses that do not contain a port number.

If you are running Cold Fusion 5.x then you can purchase CFX_HTTP5 from that fixes this bug and others.

Alternatively, you can upgrade to Cold Fusion 6 or above.
