FAQ: Does the Web Viewer work with a CDN service?

Yes, but only if you use the CDN for non dynamic pages.

The Web Viewer serves dynamic web pages and cached content may cause interference with the actual functionality.  All PHP content should be excluded from being cached – i.e. add *.php to exclusion list.

Note that we don’t support third party applications with our Web Viewer and using a CDN can cause various problems like pages not loading properly or access errors, so if you start experiencing these then bypass the CDN.

If you are searching for a way to improve the loading and delivery speeds of the Viewer then try a load balancing with a round-robin scheme (TCP/HTTP Load Balancer) with multiple cloned Viewers installed on multiple servers sharing a database only server – or a database synced in between the cloned Viewers.
