If you get the error message ‘You are not allowed to use this feature’ when using an additional add-on (command line, eCommerce, own branding, USB protect, web protect, etc.) but have purchased it, then check the following:
1) On you MASTER admin system http://www.domain.com/server_url/ll-master/master.php check that the license in use is showing the feature as activated:
Go to the Publishers Tab > Set Server license and check that the appropriate items are enabled.
Command line: enabled
Marketing logo: enabled
USB protect: enabled
Web protect: enabled
If the feature you have purchased is NOT enabled then you will need to contact firstname.lastname@example.org for an updated license code.
2) On you MASTER admin system http://www.domain.com/server_url/ll-master/master.php make sure that the appropriate add-ons are enabled in your Publisher account.
Go to the Publishers Tab > Details and check that the appropriate check boxes are checked.
3) If your license and your account have the add-ons enabled, remove your Writer keystore and re-register your Writer license file.
Go to the Windows Start menu > All Programs > LockLizard > Safeguard PDF Writer > Remove Keystore.
Then click on the ‘Save license to file’ link on your Publisher account (or save it to disk) and re-register your license (.llw) file.
Make sure you use this updated license file and not an old one that had been previously saved to disk or emailed to you.
